Bodnant Gardens is located in north Wales just north of Snowdonia National Park. I had the pleasure of visiting in late August of 2020 and enjoyed it so much I dragged my wife’s family back a year later. The grounds and the views were just as exquisite for the second time.
The grounds are expertly kept. The gardens are very diverse – some areas are very traditional and regal while other areas down on the valley are more “wild.” Even the green lawns were absolutely perfect.
One could spend several hours here exploring the grounds and I highly recommend this. The house too is picture perfect in its glorious setting – although you cannot tour the interior.
Parking is free for National Trust Members but is on the side of a very steep hill. There is a on-site gift shop and garden centre if you fancy picking up a few plants.
